**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**The selected professionals will perform activities such as**:
- Assist, coordinate and carry out maintenance activities so as to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant and machinery, and all instrument / control systems under Maintenance Supervisor / Superintendent guidelines;
- Perform regular rounds, check areas of machinery and all equipment on engine room, main deck / topsides, repair any defects and report (Root Cause Analysis) as required. Assist in other tasks as requested by the Maintenance Superintendent;
- Ensure proper watch keeping and monitoring of all equipment and rapid response to alarms and shutdowns of equipment;
- Supervise oiler / roustabout, and other team members when carrying out maintenance activities, including machinery and equipment related to the Maintenance and Catering Departments, and emergency equipment;
- Supervise and assist with all maintenance activities on mechanical or other plant and equipment;
- Ensure that all of the equipment used, workshops, work areas, are always maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
**Requeriments**:
- Technical Degree completed;
- Previous experience in the function;
- Leadership profile;
- STCW III/2 or III/1;
- Advanced English.
