OMD Collective is a new dog-friendly concept cafe & bar, nestled in the rich cultural heritage melting pot of East Coast. It is helmed by a team of professionals with strong personalities and diverse cultures. This provides the background story where the fun mix of personalities and cultures is reflected in its' ambience and food.
Our food menu is Western with an Asian influence. We are a pet-friendly co-working space/cafe in the day and we feature some of your favourite brunch items with our OMD twist. By night, we transform into a unique drinking spot serving up sexy tapas and curated drinks.
We are looking for a professional Line Cook to amaze the patrons of our establishment with excellent cooking according to the chef’s recipes and specifications. Your work will be an important factor to a client’s contentment.
**Responsibilities**
- Sets up and stocks food items & other necessary supplies
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, adn preparing sauces
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
- Miantains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
**Requirements and skills**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Line Cook role
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of best cooking practices
**Salary**: $1,800.00 - $2,400.00 per month
