**Overview**

Our team of researchers specialises in policy support, assessment and intervention research for persons with diverse needs (disabilities/vulnerabilities) using implementation, evaluation, measurement, and data sciences to create impactful outcomes. We work on government funded projects that aim to evaluate & provide recommendations on new social services & programmes for people with diverse needs. As part of the work, there will be plenty of opportunities to work with different partners specialising in policy and implementation.

As a Research Associate/Psychologist with CPH, you will collaborate closely with your supervisor and a dynamic team of researchers in one or more projects. For this position you are expected to play a specialist role in supporting and conducting research activities using advanced statistics knowledge and statistical modelling methodology besides the other listed responsibilities below.

**Responsibilities**

1. Coordinate and lead a team of researchers in research projects that support services for children and/or adults with diverse needs

a) Lead a team in the entire research cycle with specialist inputs on the best data analytic approaches using advanced statistics knowledge and statistical modelling methodology.

b) Contribute to the management of the project by working together with the relevant project managers & project leads that lead to the following outcomes:
i) Track and report project progress to funders every quarterly.

ii) Provide regular project updates to team and key stakeholders (e.g., senior management), ensuring the smooth running of the project.

iii) Ensure team’s compliance to projects protocols and guidelines.

iv) Ensure team’s adherence to project timelines and deliverables are delivered as planned.

v) Ensure team’s adherence to data confidentiality, data storage and security.

vi) Draft and prepare documents for ethics clearance.

vii) Plan project budget and coordinate procurement of resources and other logistics relevant to the project.

c) Risk management & develop solutions

i) Proactive in risk management to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

ii) Monitor project risks and proactively address challenges to prevent delays or project failure.

iii) Promote a solution-oriented mindset within the team to overcome barriers in the project.

d) Overall data management and dissemination of research findings

i) Lead team in data collection, clarification and analyses.

ii) Lead team to prepare, translate project results to policies/programmes for stakeholders.

iii) Present written reports or presentations to funders and stakeholders.

iv) Draft and prepare manuscripts, abstracts & presentation for publications, conferences, funders & stakeholders.

2) Provide and share research training & consultancy internally and externally

a) Curate training plan for team members in advanced statistics and statistical modelling methodology (e.g., longitudinal data analysis, multilevel modelling, multi-sample hypothesis tests).

b) Provide supervision, guidance & support to other team members in advanced statistics and statistical modelling methodology.

c) Share relevant knowledge and skills at the department & organisational level.

3) Other responsibilities

a) Minutes taking during meetings and timely sharing with team members.

b) Liaise with funders, stakeholders, collaborators and participating partners to establish good working relationship.

c) Carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/Leadership.

4) Professional development

a) Attend CPH endorsed training/workshops/seminars to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

**Requirements**:
**1)**Educational Qualifications**

a) An accredited master’s degree in Psychological Research, Quantitative Psychology, Statistics or Data Science.

**2) Knowledge & Experience**

a) Large scale research experience as senior project member, including leading a team of researchers (mínimally 3 years).

b) Advanced statistics & statistical programmes (e.g., using R or/& Python for longitudinal data analysis, multilevel modelling, structural equation modelling, advanced regression models, multi-sample hypothesis tests).

c) Implementation, evaluation, measurement & data sciences, and project management (would be advantageous).

d) Advanced Microsoft office skills (would be advantageous).

e) Mixed research methods and qualitative research software (e.g., nVivo, Atlas.TI) (would be advantageous).

g) Online survey administration platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, FormSG) (would be advantageous).

h) Facilitation of focus group discussion & thematic analysis (would be advantageous).

c) Strong oral/presentation and written communication skills.
