For a well-known Chinese restaurant group.

**_Main Responsibilities _**

Report to the Restaurant Manager

Take charge of the Register/POS station

Maintain complete knowledge of point-of-sale and manual systems and procedures

Receive and process all payment methods

Verify the accuracy and acceptability of the payment received

Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers

Balance the register at the end of the shift

Perform daily opening/closing of cash register account with the Restaurant Manager

Ensure all transactions are properly managed and tracked

Ensure that cash and other transactions are accounted for and recorded

Promote PGR membership and the available Bank Credit Cards promotion

Adhere to cashiering standard operating procedures

Responsible for providing good customer service

Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned

**_Requirements _**

Relevant working experience would be an added advantage

Good Cash handling skills and must be professional, polite and reliable

Strict sense of hygiene and safety standards

Possess basic PC literacy knowledge in order to handle the POS cash register system

Ability to compute mathematical calculations

Ability to input and access information into the point-of-sale system

Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up

Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly in a noisy environment with high pedestrian traffic.
