**Description of Role**:
To analyse and provide reliable financial information and knowledge to support our business and also drive performance with efficient and effective processes. Actively managing the monthly and quarterly closing activities and also support implementation, ongoing activities of IFRS 17 as well as changes in local regulatory requirements.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Deputy for Head of Reinsurance Accounting
- Partner to the business by providing expert financial knowledge and ensuring reliable financial data
- Analysis, KPI sign-off for quality assurance and managing Closing relevant activities
- Monthly analysis and management of Reinsurance Assets/Liabilities movements
- Managing and co-ordinating Credit Control/Financial handling, Retrocession Accounting, Claims administration, Commutation and Simplification activities
- Compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards
- Providing support for implementation and ongoing activities of IFRS 17 and local regulatory requirements
- Active collaboration and interaction with senior management and both internal and external stakeholders

**Key Requirements / Experience / Skills**:

- Relevant working experience in insurance/reinsurance accounting and experience in a managerial position.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills.
- Experience in handling projects.

**Education**:

- University degree in a related field e.g. Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance etc.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
