**The Company
Our client is an established financial institution with a presence globally. They have consistently recorded a strong financial performance and are well-positioned to achieve their growth plans for the APAC region. This opportunity is for an Enterprise Risk Specialist to join their existing team in Singapore.

**The Role
This position is responsible to align and oversee risk management across the organization and own execution of the enterprise program. The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) operating model ensures consistent identification, measurement, monitoring, control, and reporting of risk across individual risk categories and in aggregate. The team is responsible for the coordination, facilitation, and enforcement of the ERM policy and oversees the implementation of the risk management activities within the organisation.
- Assist in ongoing communication of the ERM Operating Model with business, risk and other internal stakeholders
- Engage ERM leadership to understand updates to individual enterprise program frameworks and incorporate appropriate revisions to ERM Operating Model
- Monitor updates, progress and challenges associated with execution goals
- Gain a strong understanding of the company’s regulatory commitments and internal risk management frameworks to ensure alignment with ERM Operating Model
- Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis and tactical support in preparation for business and management meetings.
- Provide support for broader oversight of the ERM Operating Model with project planning and management and act as an additional resource where required.
- Contribute towards a larger goal of a fully integrated enterprise risk management framework
- Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects
- Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal constituencies.

**Requirements**:

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in reputable banking and/or financial institutions
- Experience in Enterprise Risk Management or Operational Risk Management or a related role from Financial Institutions
- Familiar with related MAS regulations such as Guidelines on Risk Management Practices, Guidelines on Business Continuity Management, Guidelines on Outsourcing and other relevant notices and guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize information and drive results with a sense of urgency
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving skills, sound business judgment, and demonstrated result orientation.
- Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies.
- Displays a leadership presence; commands respect and will earn the trust of senior leaders.
- Good understanding of banking products and the risk environment
