**Job description**:
Our client is an International Bank with strong regional presence and is in the process of looking for an Executive Director to manage the bank’s operational/ technology risk and assurance under Technology and Operations for its regional subsidiaries.

You will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive risk management and assurance framework not limited to retail, treasury and capital markets, corporate as well as Group Technology functions. You will be responsible for managing, identifying and reporting all risks that could potentially affect the bank's financial performance and reputation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
You would play a pivotal role in the formulation of the control reviews for effective internal controls and checks on the Group’s technology and operations as well as liaise with regional teams for the development of competencies for their roles. You would also provide leadership and guidance to the bank's risk management team to ensure that they are effectively managing risks across the organization and act as the primary point of contact for risk-related issues with the bank's board of directors, senior management as well as auditors and regulators.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
You would possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, accounting or Technology related field with at least 15 years of working experience and at least 8 years in a management position. Extensive experience in external or internal audit, risk management, compliance, financial control, operations functions or process management in a financial institution is essential, with experience in process improvement, technology risks, surveillance and knowledge in governance frameworks (COSO, COBIT ,CMM) being highly advantageous. You would also possess strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
