Together with the team being the central contact for SG sites and warehouses as well as being a support for all South East Asia countries for any Trade Compliance (Customs / Export Control) topics.

The Trade Compliance Professional will be responsible for ensuring that the requirements and business processes associated with cross-border movements function smoothly, while also ensuring that issues and risks are identified and managed efficiently. The Trade Compliance Professional analyzes foreign trade laws and evaluates their impact on business goals while assessing potential corporate compliance risks.

**Main Responsibilities & Tasks**:

- Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance in the following areas: Anti-boycott/Restrictive Trade Practices, Export Control Classification, Export Licensing etc. and handle Customs rulings requests
- Work collaboratively with leadership in all functional and business areas to ensure compliance with process, procedures and requirements
- Consult & advise on trade matters to internal customers to reduce risks
- Educate all departments in interpreting and complying with regulations by providing company-wide training
- Identify, develop and deliver savings initiatives
- Coordinate and participate in internal and or agency inspections/audits as required and respond to applicable requests
- Develop and execute company and governmental reporting
- Maintain up to date knowledge of policies, regulations, national and international guidelines and industry standards

**Qualification & Skills**:

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as business, supply chain/logistics, economics, tax, or finance
- 3 or more years of specific experience in international trade compliance
- Proficient with relevant export regulations
- Profound project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written)
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain
- Detail-oriented with high commitment to accuracy and quality results
- Ability to work independently and focus on a single task that demands a high attention to detail for an extended period of time
- Comfortable asking questions as appropriate, and the judgement to know when to escalate
- Intrinsically motivated with a results-oriented work ethic
- Fluent in English
