An outstanding warehouse supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.- Duties _
- Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy _
- Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences _
- Replenishes stock and inventory as needed _
- Ensures that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse _
- Transfers inventory from one warehouse to another for delivery in a timely manner and according to the schedule _
- Schedules materials being transferred to and from the warehouse; coordinates the transfer of inventory between departments _
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices _
- Champions adherence to operating instructions and safety policies _

- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor _
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques _
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency _
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done _
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills _
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations _
- Strong organizational and time management skills _
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred_
