Tippling Club

Established in 2008, Tippling Club is one of the pioneers of Singapore’s now thriving gastronomic scene. Spanning three shophouse units at 38 Tanjong Pagar Road, it is an award-winning gastro-cocktail destination recognised by World’s 50 Best Restaurants, ranking no.27 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Researching the latest trends in the culinary, wine and spirits world.

2. Being knowledgeable about different types and regions of wines.

3. Helping customers choose the correct wine for a meal or budget.

4. Planning the wine menu.

5. Working with chefs on wine and food pairings.

6. Choosing and ordering wines that best fit the menu and patrons.

7. Knowing the proper way to store various types of wines.

8. Managing the inventory of the wine cellar.

9. Educating patrons on the proper ways to drink and enjoy wine.

10. Hosting and attending wine-tasting events.

11. Describing the taste and aroma of different wines.

12. Suggesting other drinks that may complement one’s meal.

13. Selecting the house wine.

14. Cultivating relationships with distributors and vintners.

15. Creating a diverse wine list at price points for all diners.

**Requirements**:
1. Wine Certification - CSW/WSET/Certified Sommelier.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience and passionate about wine service.

3. Good knowledge of wines and wine service, encompassing alcoholic or non-alcoholic items.

4. Good communication skills.

5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.

6. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

**Salary**: Up to $3,700.00 per month
