**We are looking for you,**

**Customs Manager**

**to our Group Finance team in Neste Asia Pacific.**

**We have a global team of almost 20 experts working in Tax and Customs. Our team is responsible for developing customs and tax management and compliance at Neste both regionally and at the global level.**

**You will work as part of the Group Tax and Customs team located in Finland as well as in close cooperation with the regional local Finance team in Singapore. You will report to the Customs Lead stationed in Finland.**

**You will work closely with sales, logistics and other internal stakeholders to provide customs guidance in the APAC region. In your role, you will support business and facilitate Neste’s growth by finding and developing solutions from customs perspective.**

**Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future**
- **Management of the group's customs and trade compliance in the APAC area.**
- **Development of processes, including identifying opportunities for automation and digitalization.**
- **Identifying and implementing solutions to mitigate customs duty risk.**
- **Development and maintenance of required customs knowledge and skills, including training, in areas of e.g. tariff classification, origin/free trade agreements and customs valuation.**
- **Management of customs audits, including negotiations with the authorities and settling of disputes/claims.**
- **Staying up to date with customs related developments in legislation, case law and local practice.**

**Keys to success in this role**
- **A recognized Master's or Bachelor's degree in the area of business management, law or other customs & international trade relevant field.**
- **At least 5-10 years of relevant experience e.g. from an audit, tax advisory or law firm, from an in-house customs function or from a Customs agency.**
- **Analytical thinking, development mindset and project management skills as well as excellent negotiation and communication skills are appreciated.**
- **Good understanding of main business processes and strategic issues.**
- **Fluency in English**
- **Experience with SAP and customs related IT development projects will be considered as an asset.**
