Singapore REC SOLAR PTE. LTD. Full time

This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in REC and work closely with the CEO by assisting him in managing the business including day-to-day operations, business strategy and new growth initiatives with mínimal supervision. He/she will serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and shall support the CEO in making sure that all the key business functions including manufacturing, sales, administration, finance and strategy, in REC are running smoothly.

He/she is expected to create and maintain cross department relationships in order to be able to deal with many different tasks and projects, including facilitating coordination between various parties in REC and Reliance.

This position requires the incumbent to have a thorough understanding of relevant business processes, ability to adapt and effectively manage cross functional tasks, identifying priorities and implementing policies.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Being a sounding board for the CEO and his senior management team.
- Assist in activities/responsibilities on behalf of the CEO, including attending important meetings and coordinating strategic projects and planning processes across organization.
- Act as a liaison and bridge the gap between Reliance and REC through quick and effective information processing and excellent decision-making.
- Gate-keep and monitor the flow of multi-platform communications to and from the CEO.
- Collaborate with and advise the CEO. This includes evaluating business environment and sudden changes in the business landscape to identify & suggest mitigating strategies for any potential events which may materially impact the business.
- Assist in the implementation of strategies and provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork across the organization.
- Provide feedback and support to CEO and his senior management and act as an advisor when appropriate, to ensure REC’s goals and initiatives are met.
- Effectively multi-task and analyze cross functional information/data to present recommendations to the CEO and his senior management team.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or similar field
- Min 10 years of experience in cross functional roles including business management, finance, strategy for a large corporate.
- Consulting experience with a focus on business, strategy, finance and operations management.
- Experience leading initiatives and projects with cross functional teams in a highly complex, fast-paced environment required
- Ability to adapt to fast changing technology and business environment and use strategic/innovative mindset to solve complex business challenges.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience translating data and metrics to action.
- Demonstrable experience managing high-profile projects.
- Experience with budget management.
- Consulting experience with a focus on business, strategy, finance and operations management.
- Proven success in a project coordination role.
- Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions.
- Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building capabilities, including the ability to lead/influence those not directly reporting to this role.
