**Company Information**:
Sylvan Capital Management Pte. Ltd. is a Licensed Fund Manager under the Monetary Authority of Singapore, headquartered in Singapore. The Company manages a private equity fund that focuses on private equity growth capital/buyout investments in mid-market companies in the Asia Pacific region.

We are looking for a Finance Manager to help augment our growing team. This is a diverse and varied role that will oversee and provide technical review across financial, tax and regulatory reporting as well as leading on the review and presentation of management accounts to senior stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and execute the private equity fund accounting and finance
- Prepare/review monthly and quarterly financial work papers for portfolio companies
- Review valuations provided by the investment team
- Perform Forecasts of the Fund Manager’s performance and cash flows, as well as overseeing the performance and cash flow of target companies
- Work with external stakeholders such as fund administers, tax advisers, auditors, etc. to manage the reporting process
- Work with compliance officers on the compliance-related matters
- Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitoring cash flows and cash balances
- Liaise with the investment team to provide them support from an accounting and finance perspective during investment transactions
- Liaise with regulators including, but not limited to, the MAS and handle the necessary and relevant documents in accordance with the regulatory requirement
- Handle the consolidation of the Partnership
- Other ad-hoc tasks

**Requirements**:

- At least 15 years of fund accounting & finance experience with exposure to the Private Equity Fund industry or Post Investment experience
- At least 5 years of Private Equity Investment background
- At least 10 years of experience in positions at the CFO/COO level
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Certifications as a Qualified Accountant (Preferably from a reputable University)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to make judgements/recommendations
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Minimally bi-lingual (Preferred language skillsets: English, Korean - As we deal with mainly Korean clients)
- Motivated, diligent and responsible
- Be able to travel frequently - at least 1 to 2 times a month
