Ezi Driver

Shift Requirement: 8am - 5pm (inclusive of an hour for lunch)

Flexible shift may be required based on daily assigned tasks e.g. 6am - 3pm.

SUMMARY

The Driver is to take care of and operate the 10ft box truck vehicle as well as lead the collector/s. He will refer to the mobile app (ezi) for allocated collection locations and enter collected tonnages into the app. He is to ensure execution of the allocated jobs are done to desirable service levels. He shall also be equipped to man or facilitate a recycling station at residential areas e.g. to guide residents to download the mobile app.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trained and be proficient with the Recyclable’s mobile apps on the collector modules.
- Facilitate and provide guidance to members of public to download ezi app.
- Operate heavy vehicles (e.g. 10ft box trucks).
- Ensure collection of recyclable items by collection team.
- Ensure the recyclables loads are stored safely in vehicle (prevent pilferage, spillage etc.)
- Ensure transference and disposal of recyclables collected to authorised disposal facilities.
- Ensure proper handing over and taking over of vehicle, collection receptacles as well as other equipment before and after shift.
- Perform basic maintenance of the vehicle (e.g. daily checks and washing) as well as report any issues to the operation executive.
- Lead collection team in maintaining safe and healthy work environment. Ensure team compliance with both Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and legal regulations (e.g. comply with standard LTA regulations, only park vehicles in a safe location that will not cause inconvenience for others).
- Perform other administrative duties and additional jobs/ ad-hoc job pertaining to recyclables, as assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENT
- Minimum Class 3/4 Driver’s License.
- Physically fit and able to adapt fast in a dynamic working environment.
- IT savvy to utilize mobile app.
- Good communication skills.
- Independent and able to coordinate subcontractors.
- Reliable, self-disciplined and able to lead the collection team.
- Ability to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Positive mindset with an interest to learn new skills and knowledge.
