The individual will work with the sales teams to support sales strategies and engaging the appropriate consoling colleagues to support the execution of presales engagements.

**SAP Solution Architects have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include**:

- Participating in the development of high-level business strategy and translating it into technical solutions
- Reviewing existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement or replacement.
- Developing diagrams and models to illustrate how data flows within an organization’s information systems.
- Working with other members of an organization’s IT department to implement new business solutions.
- Identifying new technologies that could be incorporated into existing solutions or developing new solutions based on emerging technologies.
- Coordinating with other departments such as operations or human resources to ensure that new solutions meet the needs of end users.
- Establishing project budgets and timelines to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule.
- Performing feasibility studies to determine whether proposed solutions are viable.
- Identifying new technologies that could be incorporated into existing solutions or developing new solutions based on emerging technologies.
- Coordinating with other departments such as operations or human resources to ensure that new solutions meet the needs of end users.
- Establishing project budgets and timelines to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule.
- Performing feasibility studies to determine whether proposed solutions are viable.
- The incumbent must possess a strong understanding of SAP solutions, good solution and value based selling skills and be able to mentor and coach the assigned virtual account team members in support of sales cycles.
- Strong collaboration skills will also be required to work with 3rd party solution partners and colleagues in other market units.
- Must be able to travel up to 50%.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in positioning value in SAP solutions
- Strong communications both spoken and written.
- Strong understanding of the SAP Solution offering is mandatory.
- Experience is articulating processes in at least two industries.
