**Finance & Tax Executive / Accountant**

**Key Responsibilities**
1 Maintain full sets of accounts, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet schedules.
2 Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing, year-end audits, and financial reporting.
3 Handle daily accounting activities, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.
4 Oversee AP functions; manage AR and General Ledger (GL) accounts.
5 Assist in managing subsidiary accounts, including intercompany reporting and reconciliation.
6 Perform monthly and annual inventory reconciliations between control systems and ledgers.
7 Prepare and submit half-yearly tax computations and ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
8 Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc finance and reporting duties.

**Requirements**:
1 Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
2 Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within the construction sector.
3 Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage accounting software / Info-Tech Accounting is a plus.
4 Strong communication skills.
5 Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
6 Team-oriented, with high integrity and a strong sense of accountability.
