**Job Title**:Sr. Data Engineer

**Location**:Bangalore

**Impact & contribution**

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and running the data pipelines and services that are required to support business functionality/reports/dashboard.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Experience in data analysis and data mapping and consequently data integration routines which involves moving, cleansing, and transforming a large amount of data between multiple systems.
- Identifies data sources, provides data flow diagrams, and documents sources to target mapping and process.
- Working with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues.
- Implement processes and procedures for the development and release of products/projects that facilitate high quality and rapid deployment.
- Provide solutions to promote data integrity in enterprise systems.
- Owning the delivery of data models and reports end to end.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify data quality issues early in the process and implement tests to ensure prevent them in the future.

**Essential Skills**
- 9 to 12 Years Experience in Data Designing, profiling & develop the schemas for the database in a specialized area.
- Experience in agile processes, such as SCRUM.
- Extensive experience in writing advanced SQL and Python.
- Extensive experience in Data Profiling of Raw data from various source systems.
- Assist in developing and supporting encryption solutions to protect sensitive data.
- High level of communications skills, including the demonstrated ability to solicit opinions and accept feedback.
- Experience in operating effectively as part of cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in key capabilities - IT SDLC processes, written documentation/ specification skills
- Knowledge and exposure to cloud technologies
- Experience in working across a few technical domains with the ability to ‘deep dive’ where required and implement optimal solutions.
- Working experience in the banking industry
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field.

**Education Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology or any similar stream
