**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated intern in computational biology with a strong background in data science, to turn data into insights and contribute to the development of the next generation of cancer therapies.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Mine public databases, publications and other public resources to deliver actionable insights that impact the development of the next generation of cancer treatment
- Research and implement novel analytical approaches to support drug discovery research
- Perform analysis of multi-modal pre-clinical and clinical data to identify biomarkers for our programs
- Perform other data mining tasks as needed
- Support with figures and slide deck preparation

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Being currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s Program in Computer Science, Computational Biology, bioinformatics or related science program
- Experience in Python and/or R for data analysis
- Good understanding of molecular biology and immunology
- Familiarity with omics and high-throughput assay databases
- Desirable to have strong communication skills, with a focus on creating and delivering presentations
