**About the role**:Our client is a leading chemical manufacturing company that is expanding their existing operations in Singapore.

**Work Location**:Jurong Island (Company transport is provided to and from Jurong East MRT station)

**About the role**:The Day Technician is responsible for overseeing Heat Treatment daily operations, supporting the shift team with grade change maintenance activities, and ensuring smooth day shift operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily operations of the Heat Treatment unit, ensuring that quality, safety, and production capacity meet the production plan.
- Lead and support GCM transition activities for the HT facility, ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and meet company standards before being handed over to maintenance.
- Communicate operational issues to the maintenance team and collaborate closely with maintenance contractors and coordinators to address them.
- Assist the shift team in various operational tasks, including off-spec PVA blending, chemical loading/unloading, chemical preparation, and GCM cleaning.
- Report to both the shift supervisor and day supervisor to ensure that daily operations are carried out safely and in compliance with requirements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

**About you**:

- NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
- At least 3 years’ working experience as Process Technician in a chemical industry
