**Associate Scientist, Imaging Biomarkers**

Join our imaging biomarkers team at our research laboratory in Singapore. We integrate biology, imaging technology, and data science to discover novel biomarkers in disease biology to accelerate drug discovery and development. In this role, you will leverage artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and image analysis for digital pathology. You will work closely with colleagues from discovery biology, translational medicine and external vendors/collaborators to execute imaging biomarker studies.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_
- Execute imaging biomarker study operations and coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors/collaborators to meet demanding discovery program timeline
- Responsible for managing tissue sample shipment, sample tracking and monitoring study progress for digital pathology studies
- Perform routine image and data analysis using established in-house analysis pipeline to support work orders related to our preclinical studies
- Proactively identify areas of improvement in existing image analysis workflows to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency
- Perform large data visualization, interpretation, and report study results to help investigate disease biology and support drug discovery/development
- Conduct relevant literature studies to formulate methods and hypothesis for the analysis and interpretation of digital pathology images
- Contribute to authoring documentation related to image analysis workflow/pipeline, SOPs and develop QA/QC plans

**WHAT YOU MUST HAVE**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Computational Biology, Statistics, or the equivalent with 3+ years of relevant research experience in medical image processing and analysis
- Strong foundation and hands-on experience with medical image analysis and processing in Matlab or Python
- Experience in data analysis & visualization using Python (seaborn, matplotlib), R (ggplot2, corrplot)
- Understanding in deep learning and/or machine learning (scikit-learn, pytorch, tensorflow)
- Understanding of biostatistics
