We are a new mini-grocer and butchery opening soon in Toa Payoh, serving the local community and food lovers with premium produce at great value.
As a brand new startup, are looking for a Part-time Bookkeeper to assist us in setting up our accounting software, and maintaining accurate and tidy accounts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate records of all revenue and expense transactions in accounting software
- Tracking inventory movement (purchases, sales), measuring COGS
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts, tracking accounts payable and receivable
- Year-end preparation of ECI, C-S/C, and Unaudited Financial statements
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks, if required
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years' of working experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail
- Works efficiently and a good communicator
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting preferred
- Tech-savvy and proficient in XERO or similar accounting software
Good to Know:
- Expected start in February 2025
- 2 days per week (choose your days)
- Primarily work from home role unless required for meeting on-site (Toa Payoh)
