**Responsibilities**:
Primarily involved in Static job tasks with secondary responsibility in supporting Rotating tasks as and when required. Supervise mechanical technicians, welders, fitters and/or workers in site mechanical maintenance and support activities with focus on safety, effectiveness, efficiency and high quality Lead team of general fitters and/or workers in site mechanical maintenance and support activities (static/ rotating) as and when required.

Major duties shall include (but not limited to) the following:

- Supervise and lead work teams in performing assigned tasks (inclusive of Rigger & Signalman lifting activities). Coordinate any inter-disciplines activities.
- Developing work method statement, risk assessment and permit to work.
- Record and prepare maintenance reports / records on completed tasks.
- Participate in task risk assessments, support preparation of procedures, method statements, safety instructions prior to execution of scheduled activities.
- Participate in safety tool-box discussions, safety audits / inspections and meetings both home office and client's requirements.
- Report and participate in investigations on any safety and quality incident or non-compliance
- Ready to support during emergency as per Client's emergency response plan.

**Knowledge, Abilities and Skills**:

- Strong practical experience in maintenance works for mechanical static equipment with knowledge of standards, methods, practices, tools and materials for the repair, servicing and inspections.
- Computer literacy and ability to update or retrieve required reports and records using CMMS.
- Recognizes health, safety and environmental hazards and suggests means of eliminating or controlling these hazards.
- Ability to develop task risks assessments for assigned works
- Ability to supervise and lead work teams.
- Has good interpersonal skills and is able to communicate effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by the work.
- Experience in turnaround work with major refineries or petrochemical plants.
- Conversant with WSH requirements (i.e. risk assessments, permit-to-work, etc.) in oil / petrochemical industries.
- Posses at least a Class 3 driver's license and forklift operator certification as per MOM requirements.
- Knowledge in piping construction and lifting works, able to read and interpret blueprints, P&ID and isometrics.
- Possess all relevant mandatory safety certifications (e.g. AWSHPP, confined space, lifting supervisor, work at height, etc)

**Academic Qualification**:
Diploma with 5 years working experience or Higher NITEC / NITEC in plant equipment maintenance or equivalent with at least 8 years working experience in major chemical or oil & gas industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,200.00 - $3,000.00 per month
