Job Responsibilities:

- The Accounts Assistant reports to the Accounting Manager to support the Finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the department.
- H e/She covers duties such as work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payrolling or other accounting tasks.
- The Accounts Assistant assists in consolidated financial statements, accruals, monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts for audit purposes.
- His/ Her main role is to support the Accounting Manager in various accounting tasks.

Job Requirements:

- Perform Accounts Payable functions include verifying supplier’s invoices, initiating payments and data entry.
- Perform Accounts Receivables functions include preparing AR reports and monitor cash balance.
- Handle petty cash claims and reimbursement
- Monthly bank and accounts reconciliation
- Handling staff claims
- Undertake instructions from Accounting Manager and Director for the transactions and tasks given.
- Ensure timely and accurate month end closing.
- Other ad-hoc duties that are being assigned by direct supervisor from time to time.
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Able to meet deadlines
- Meticulous and has good work ethics

**Job Type**: Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
