- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling FSMS

- Certified ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor; Lead Auditor Certificate is preferred but not required
- Have prior experience in handling second and third party auditsa. People Management and Staff Training

Manage QA Department of entities within the group; keep up to date on projects, audits and other activities within each entity
Support hiring process for the team, and identify individual potential who can significantly contribute to the team
Assess strength and weakness of team member, and map out individual development plan
Allocate projects and discuss deliverables and timelines to each company’s team lead
Conduct periodic in-house training to management team

b. Food Safety and Quality Management
Establish, develop, maintain and update FSMS documentation, through discussion with QA team lead in each entity
Ensure all documentations are updated as per latest revision of standard
Guide QA in developing documentation system relevant to any new customer, regulatory and/or certification requirement
Cascade any new regulatory circular/policies, and ensure that any changes are communicated within the group to ensure compliance.
Work with QA Team in conducting data evaluation and trend analyses; develop monitoring and reporting system which will be relevant to both QA and Production.

c. Customer Specification and Regulatory Requirement
Be updated on any new regulatory/ customer requirement
Guide each entity’s team lead during new product/process translation
Ensure any new /change during translation are properly documented and validated (product and process specification, shelf-life, etc).

d. Regulatory, Certification, Internal and Second Party Compliance and Audits
Calendar audit schedules in all the plants, for both internal and external parties
Lead Internal audits, as per Regulatory, Certification and/or Second Party Standards
Communication link between Operation, Sales and Customer on all translation of new
process/ product to ensure compliance to food safety and management system
Advise senior management on decision-making, which involve compliance to food quality and safety.

e. Plant Renovation, Machine Acquisition and Line Validation (Project Management Services)
Assess feasibility and risks of changes in plant layout and/or new machine and/or new product/ raw material on the current FSMS
Provide technical input, from quality and food safety perspective, during ideation and development meetings
Liaise with Regulatory, Certification and Customer PIC’s on the proposed changes and spearhead discussion to ensure compliance
Work with QA on relevant tests and risk assessment to complete line and process Validation. Ensure all details are properly documented.

f. Group Quality and Food Safety Evaluation and Development Plan
Identify key parameters to assess each company’s awareness and implementation of FSMS
Work with FSMS Team from each entity to address weakness and map out improvement Plan
Synchronization and standardization of QA procedures, processes, documentation and
audit programmes to ensure system is constantly updated as per regulatory, certification and customer standard.
Assess and develop solution for easy management of each entity’s deliverables.
Spearhead automation and digitalization project; work with solution provider and discuss on how the team envisions the system to work.
Work closely with Senior QA in ensuring that systems are working effectively in each entity.

g. Crisis Management and Emergency Response
Participate actively in Business Continuity Plan to ensure constant supply of quality and safe products.
Coordinate with concerned parties on any crisis/ emergency situation, and activate relevant processes and procedures
Liaise with Senior Management for any specific business direction and work with second parties on immediate process/ product validation to ensure consistent product quality and safety
Ensure control measures are in place and immediate corrective actions are identified and coordinated should non-conformances arise
Properly document all communication, especially agreement with and instruction from customers and regulatory bodies.
