The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering seeks to hire an Executive (Research) to assist in department administration for projects hosted and co-hosted by the department, to assist in charting out activities and outreach for research clusters and initiatives based in the department, and to assist the Deputy Head (Research and Enterprise) and the Head of Department in specific projects and grant administration.
- To execute and administer research administration for projects hosted and co-hosted by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, including managing the departmental research portfolio, proposal grant submissions, grant life-cycle administration (from initiation to closure and audit), financial and audit reports to grantors and auditors, grant data management, and others.
- To assist in charting out and implementing research outreach and activities for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, including emerging research initiatives, research cluster activities and liaising with industry. - To assist in the writing, collation and documentation of research activities for the research clusters.
- To assist in the collation of data, design, planning and preparation of publicity materials for research outreach, including department presentations, videos, research publications, research seminars and webinars, research website and updates.
- To assist in the preparation of large grant call proposals for the department.
- To assist in specific research project and grant administration as approved by the Deputy Head (Research) and the Head of Department.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant areas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Powerpoint, Words, Excel (Pivot table, vLookup)
- Competent in writing, collating and summarising information
- Able to handle confidential data.
- Meticulous with strong follow-through on work matters.
- Background in science or engineering is preferable
- Open to fixed term contract.
