We are looking for an experienced Assistant Shipping Manager to lead our Sea Division team. The Assistant Shipping Manager will be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective management of the entire shipping process, ensuring timely delivery of products, and compliance with industry regulations.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**:Manage, mentor, and lead a team of shipping and logistics professionals, setting clear expectations and goals while providing day-to-day operation coaching, guidance and problem solving. To communicate and manage team members’ annual leave and alternative Saturday off day
- **Shipping Operations**:Oversee all aspects of Shipping & Haulage operations, including order fulfillment, packaging, labeling, and transportation.
- **Cost Management**:Implement cost-effective shipping strategies and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including customs documentation, hazardous materials handling, safety standards, Company’s vision, mission, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). In addition, to ensure complying and achieving quality standard in accordance with Quality Management System ISO 9001 standards. Comply and meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 for Integrated Management System.
- **Performance Metrics**:Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the shipping department. Additionally, to ensure achieve IMS Policy and IMS objectives.
- **Technology Integration**:Stay up to date with shipping technology trends and implement the latest tools and software to streamline shipping processes.
- **Business Partner Relationships**:Maintain positive relationships with Customers, Shipping carriers, 3PL providers, and other vendors on positive order fulfillment, including negotiating contracts and service agreements as necessary.
- **Risk Management**:Identify potential risks in the shipping process and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- **Reporting**:Generate regular reports on shipping performance and costs for senior management, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Other tasks/duty assigned by Management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in shipping and logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and import/export procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Results-oriented, with a commitment to achieving operational excellence.
- Familiarity with lean and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
