**Job Title**:Platform Engineer
**Location**:Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore

**Business & Team**:CTO- SNS

**Impact &contribution**:The network team in CBA Technology is responsible for world-leading network technology and operations across CommBank supporting our workforce across Australia and international locations. Our team is collaborative, supportive, and keen to share knowledge. We emphasise open communication, quality work and a culture of excellence.

**Roles & responsibilities**:

- Author implementation plans and configuration of network security changes into CBA’s network services and devices and execution of changes outside of regular business hours
- Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation.
- Contribute to the documenting of current infrastructure services.
- Actively contribute to improvements in our processes and procedures
- Work with project teams to understand network connectivity.Ensure all services within the IT service portfolio are managed with consideration to network, capacity, platform, sociability/scalability factors and target architecture

**Essential skills**:

- Minimum 5 years of IT network experience
- Experience with technology in a large organization.
- Experience in IT design, implementation, operation and management
- Mandatory knowledge and demonstrated experience of Cisco Switches (Nexus and IOS), Routers and Firewalls.
- Cisco Routing and Switching - Advanced level. Adept with BPG, OSPF, STP flavours, Nexus OS, DC Leaf & Spine.Security - Palo Alto NGFW, PRISMA SaaS solution, PA SD-WAN solution BC Proxies, Cisco ASA NG Firewalls.
- **Education Qualification**:Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
