Singapore- Ancillary Areas- PermanentThis role is a media facing market analyst role focused on becoming a recognised media personality, whose view on market trends and events is actively sought by financial and mainstream press and who can generate a significant following on social media channels. In addition, you will drive the in-house client education, video content and seminar program, developing new material and working with the wider office to help meet targets.

**Responsibilities**:

- To produce timely and forward-looking market analysis that seeks to identify key upcoming trends and market movers, for distribution both to external media and through own channels to our clients
- Daily written reports on global market news across all asset classes offered on the trading platform.
- To drive, develop and deliver appropriately targeted materials for training courses for all levels of trading client - including seminars, website content, recorded video’s and social media
- To cover major market events with pre and post analysis, including interview features and media comments as appropriate To continually monitor market trends, compile and maintain market and competitive information; work collaboratively with other teams to help identify areas where they can provide coverage or add expertise
- Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
- To develop relationships with key press contacts in local and international media and use these to get high profile coverage
- Provide daily content for the APAC websites and social channels.
- Building Chinese language analysis around the region (Written, webinar and seminar)
- To participate & present at conferences, seminars, and other events as necessary - on occasion it might be necessary to work on public holidays or weekends, although time off is earned in lieu for this
- Forward plan local content, Seminars, Workshops, Webinars and video’s including calendar management and new topical content (In English and Mandarin).

**Key skills and experience**:

- Degree in Finance/ Business related disciplines with a minimum 3 years’ experience in derivative and or financial industry or background in journalism/ economics would also be considered for this role
- Media trained with at least 1 years’ experience interviewing with reputable networks on TV, radio and for written press
- Knowledge of and relationships with the local media networks
- Chinese Language skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge and ability to analyse market movements
- Ability to analyse, formulate and articulate opinion and informed reading of the markets
