Threat Intelligence Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced threat intelligence analysis focused on risks relevant to the financial services sector, including APT groups, cybercrime campaigns, and fraud-related threats.
Produce strategic, operational, and tactical threat intelligence reports with actionable insights tailored to banking and financial operations.
Track and profile threat actors targeting financial institutions, correlating their TTPs with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and the Diamond Model.
Collaborate with security operations (SOC), incident response, fraud investigation, and risk teams to inform threat detection and response strategies.
Integrate IOCs, TTPs, and threat intelligence into SIEM, SOAR, and TIP platforms to enhance detection and response workflows.
Continuously evaluate and curate threat feeds and sources for relevance to the financial threat landscape.
Support proactive threat hunting and contribute to improving threat modelling and threat-informed defence strategies.
Maintain strong awareness of global regulatory and threat developments impacting the financial sector (e.g., FS-ISAC, FATF, DORA).
Contribute to the maturity of the threat intelligence program and documentation of procedures, adhering to best practices in the financial services industry.
Certifications (preferred though optional):
GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)
Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA - EC-Council)
CREST Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst
Any relevant GIAC, SANS, or ISC² certifications (e.g., GCIH, CISSP)
