
Regional Marketing Communications Manager, Apj

**Job Purpose**:
- The Regional Marketing communications Manager for APJ, strategizes, manages, drives and delivers a regional brand strategy, enabling external stakeholders (Customers, vendors, and IT Ecosystem) to understand, be educated and aware of our strategy, business priorities, value proposition, brand identity and promise.
**Responsibilities**:
- Owns the planning, direction, control and execution of a yearly brand and communications strategy that drives our value proposition, brand and market position across the IT ecosystem.
- Works directly with APJ leadership to deliver thought leadership content, focusing on driving our executive and market presence to our external stakeholders. This will come in many forms, such as scripts, speeches, presentations, blogs, whitepapers, interviews, social etc.
- Supports regional external events, including planning & communications, and content & messaging for regional partner events, etc.
- Collaborate with APJ Marketing and BUs as a trusted advisor for external market related communications. Establishes and maintains positive, effective and proactive relationships with external stakeholders.
**Knowledge Skills and Experience**:
- 10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience
- Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
- Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
- Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.
- Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above)
- Able to negotiate skilfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
- Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.
- Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
- Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
- Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
- Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to effectively multi-task.
- Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.
- Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.
- Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.
