**Job description**

We are looking for someone who is energetic and passionate about baking to join our team He or she must be able to follow recipes, maintain cleanliness, and work in a fast-paced environment. All while ensuring quality and consistency in our baked products at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of Ingredients: Assist in measuring, mixing, and preparing ingredients for baked goods.
- Baking: Follow baking procedures and schedules to produce various baked goods such as cinnamon rolls, muffins and cookies. Must be able to operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all baked products meet the standards for quality, consistency and appearance.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a safe, sanitary and organised work area, including cleaning baking tools, equipment and surfaces. Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards.
- Product Decoration: Assist in preparation of various icing options and ensure finished baked goods are decorated in accordance with design guidelines or customer requests.
- Inventory Management: Help keep track of ingredient levels and notify the baker when supplies need to be ordered or replenished.
- Packing: Inspect and pack freshly baked products into designated packaging according to quality standards and requirements.

Customer Interaction: Some interaction with customers and cashiering will be required.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Previous experience in a bakery or culinary environment is preferred. Alternatively, applicant must enjoy and have sufficient experience baking at home.
- Must possess valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certification. Alternatively, must be prepared to take and pass the course promptly.

**Working hours and remuneration**
- Must be able to work flexible shifts - 10pm-7am, or 12am-9am (location of bakery is in the East of Singapore, at Telok Kurau)
- 5-day week: Wed - Sun
- Able to start in Jan 2025
- Salary range from $1800 to $2500, depending on experience.
