Singapore PRACTICAL ANALYZER SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. Full time

The Assistant Engineer develops technical drawings and models based on pre-defined specifications and engineering calculations under the supervision of the Package Project Engineer for analyzer products or system solutions. The job holders interpret engineering calculations and use design software and modeling methods for the preparation of drawings and designs and compilation of project documentation.

**Key Roles:
**1 Develop Technical Drawings and Engineering Designs**
- Interpret engineering calculations for dimensioning in technical drawings and support product and system designs
- Create design drawings, schematics, and layouts for feasibility, practicability, and completion timeframe
- Highlight design and engineering gas in technical drawings and models
- Source design data from databases and/or existing designs

**2 Implement Sustainable Design Initiatives and Design for Safety Regulations (DfS)**
- Identify relevant regulations and standards for sustainability in engineering designs from the project data base
- Conduct studyand calculations for sustainable design and product innovations
- Support implementation of sustainable design initiatives
- Propose modifications to design plans to reduce design risks
- Provide relevant safety information to design plans to reduce designs risks
- Maintain records of key decisions made to design risks and modifications

**3 Administrative**
- Provide documentation supporting role to Project Engineers for the document submission to customers
- Any other assigned tasks

**4 IT Support**
- To assist IT Officer on the server or system rebooting as and when it is required and any other related duties

**5 Manage Health, Safety, and Environment**
- Comply with the Heath, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) system
- Ensure proper closure of HSSE
- Ensure the implementation of sustainable engineering procedures and guidelines

**6 Manage Risk and Business**
- Develop risk management plans and risk controls in alignment with the organization’s risk management framework
- Analyze and consider the financial implications of various decisions and tasks
- Analyze the solutions developed, and work accomplished to identify learning points for continuous improvement initiatives.

**7 Manage and Develop People**
- Manage, develop, and motivate team members through the show of concern for their personal and professional growth and delegation, and mentoring and stretching them while maintaining oversight.
- Manage and deploy resources optimally at all stages of the operations

**Prerequisites**:

- ITE, Diploma or Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in field instrumentation or process analytics and mechanical equipment will be highly relevant
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
