Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to drive Business development in the new and exciting space of real-time cross border payments leveraging Mastercard’s world-class payment platform that helps individuals and businesses make faster, more cost-effective cross border payments.

The Senior analyst for AP will be based in Singapore and be responsible for working with the Directors to assist in developing a sales pipeline for cross-border vertical and for account management of retail MTOs.

Role
- Landscape, market sizing and deep analysis of use cases to identify pain points and opportunity for cross border account to account payment flows from and into AP markets
- Develop sales pipeline for cross-border vertical and account management of retail MTOs
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including product, customer delivery, account management, franchise, marketing, data services and Finance to build the Cross-border services vertical. Work with regional sales teams, and product teams conducting market research, competitor research, and market addressability analysis.
- Play a key role to facilitate financial modeling / business case development for new business opportunities. Execute commercial deals from initial engagements, client negotiations, contract agreement process to implementation
- Track and drive progress across AP on pipeline opportunities including timely updates to regional and global stakeholders, SalesForce/CRM tracking, and ensuring opportunities are progressed in a timely fashion.
- Achieve aggressive revenue growth for MA Cross Border services.

All About You
- 5+ year work experience in financial services industry. In-depth knowledge and experience in cross border flows products.
- Understanding of correspondent banking fundamentals such as nostro accounts, SWIFT messaging, clearing platforms and technologies, AML/Sanctions screening.
- Good understanding of payment processes: clearing, settlement, FX, remittance operations.
- Strong analytics capabilities - demonstrated ability in utilizing internal and external data to manage performance and provide insights. Attention to detail is a must.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills and proven ability to communicate effectively to audiences at all levels.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change and uncertainty
- Top tier engineering graduates preferred but not mandatory
