**About Our Client**:
The hiring company is a mid-sized firm centrally located in Singapore. They offer various financial services and products to customers and have been expanding in Singapore over the years.
- Perform **MS & Linux SQL installation, cluster, upgrades, maintenance, and configuration management**:

- **Create/maintain database and operational documentation** according to internal standards and best practices
- Resolve incidents and problems with database or related third party products
- Database performance monitoring/tuning
- **Maintain database security and compliance** according to internal standards and policies

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Diploma or degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
- At least **3 years of experience in database administration (MS SQL, Sybase on Unix/Linux)**:

- Possess **good understanding of database support methodology**:

- Good understanding of ITIL processes
- **Basic understanding of core infrastructure** such as data network, firewall, centralized storage and backup, load-balancers, VMware server virtualization and containerization
- **Prior experience in the financial services industry (banks, investment firms)** is highly desirable
