**Senior DevOps Engineer**:
GECO Asia Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior DevOps Engineer. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be in charge of the specification and documentation of the new project features. In addition, you will be developing new features and writing scripts for automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash.

**Job Requirements & Qualification**:

- 5-7 years of experience in IaC code in managed services project - development and implementation for service delivery / operation automation
- Hands-on experience to develop IaC code using one or more of the scripting languages (e.g. Ansible, Python, Chef (ruby), Terraform (HCL), Groovy, Powershell, bash)
- Experience with automation/configuration/compliance/management using either Puppet, Chef or Ansible
- Experience in code versioning, CI/CD and automated testing
- Strong experience in Cloud DevOps, MS SQL and MySQL
- Strong background in Linux/Unix/Windows Administration
- Experience with source code control and versioning
- Good to have knowledge in Elastic ELK
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and scripting languages
- Knowledge in developing playbook using RPA tool
- Certifications in DevOps, or any of the automation tools
- Good understanding with Systems, networking, and development tools
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle
- Self-motivated, attention to detail, and good problem-solving skills
- Able to meet customer expectation, present to customer and advise customer’s in automation needs
- Ability to make decision independently and with the consultation of manager to have robust and best design for automation
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / IT-related

**Job Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to setup and configuration of Demo Lab and production platform for automation
- Lead the development and migration of automation scripts to be setup in demo lab
- Support Presales solution for automation proposal
- Lead the design and implementation of DevOps and automation solution for the project
- Understand the automation specifics and concept in day-to-day service delivery and operations in IT Managed Services
- Build and maintain automation runbook or playbook or cookbook using some of these automation technologies such as ansible, python, PowerShell, Chef (ruby) and Terraform (HCL), groovy, JavaScript and other scripting languages
- Operationalize automation development to improve productivity
- Code or script for automated testing as well as carry out automated testing procedures in testing and production environments
- Code control and versioning of Infra-as-code (IaC)
- Manage the setup of DevOps platform and setup automation use cases for demo
- Lead DevOps engineer to learn and develop automation use cases using any of these platforms (Ansible, chef and terraform) but not limited to these
- Identify automation requirement in service delivery and automation
- Consistently develop automation script with parameter driven so as to have repeatable use with minimum change
- Lead the development of IaC
- Develop code based on EDMS DevOps Framework and coding and security coding practices
- Manage customer expectation to have robust and scalable architecture
- Manage outcomes to ensure the delivery of automation as per SLA / KPI
