Ai-ml Specialist,

We are looking for a talented specialist to be part of the Open Digital Platform (ODP), a Smart District Operating System. The ODP provides the interoperability capabilities for district-level systems such as district cooling, building systems, smart grid etc.
You will work with a team of dynamic system and software engineers to conceptualize, design and develop the ODP. There will be opportunities to develop automated building and estate controls using AI and ML to:
(1) achieve energy and resource savings,
(2) make our estates and buildings more sustainable, and
(3) improve the quality of life.
**Responsibilities**:
- Research and implement appropriate AI/ML algorithms and tools
- Identify suitable data for AI/ML use cases, liaise with system and software engineers to obtain these data
- Responsible for full AI/ML model life cycle management and operationalisation; including data gathering, development, model training, deployment, monitoring and performance optimization
- Ensure proper documentation and re-usability of codes
**Requirements**:
- Qualifications in any related discipline
- Proficient in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML model development and deployment, ML frameworks (like TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
- Experience with big data processing technologies such as Spark
- Domain knowledge would be advantageous, e.g. smart cities, building and facilities management
- Good team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently in carrying out tasks with mínimal supervision
- Experience in Java, C# or a related language would be advantageous
