**Purpose of the role**

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate actively in discussions with stakeholders and customers
- Strive to identify any emerging risks and make timely reporting on relevant findings to stakeholders
- Stay abreast of MUFG policies and procedures and industry developments and trends
- Ensure adoption of new policies and processes
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG
- Work in partnership with colleagues across the region to deliver an integrated service for our customers.
- Work in partnership with Relationship Managers in the country to support the team in resolving any complex credit processes or credit operational issues
- Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Credit department in other Branches to support transactions booked in Singapore Branch/ other Branches
- Support the Team Lead
- Adhere to all company policies/guidelines
- Support and guide the less experienced members of the team
- Review borrower ratings in accordance to MUFG's guidelines and policies.
- Monitor due date controls to support the credit facility renewal and ensure that covenant checks are completed in a timely manner.
- Support in updating local credit policies to ensure alignment with all relevant regulations.
- Support the delivery of timely process improvement initiatives for the department.
- Support in assessing the health of department's credit portfolio, including but not limited to borrower rating and collaterals control.
- Support in periodical review of MAS Grades and perform checks in accordance to MAS requirement
- Support in internal and external audits by coordinating activities for the department.
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
- Participate in relevant committees in the region
- Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree qualified
- Minimum 1 year of corporate credit experience
- Good analytical skills to interpret large and complex data sets and ability to identify implications of data sets.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of industries and economic environment in the region.
- Detailed understanding of Bank's products and their risks.
