**About the Role**

The purpose of this role is primarily to oversee activities related to local and international freight both inbound and outbound. This includes but not limited to shipment booking/monitoring, preparation of shipping documents, liaising with Freight Forwarders/3PL and provides support to internal stakeholders on their shipping related queries. The role will also support in conducting business reviews with Freight Forwarders and coordinating continuous improvement related activities within the team

**Key Accountabilities**
- Shipment Execution, Booking, Preparation of Shipping Documents (Export shipments)
- Shipment Monitoring, Delivery Status (Import Shipments)
- Attending Non-Conformance Related Issues
- Invoice Verification (Billing from Freight Forwarders)
- Monthly Business Reviews with Freight Forwarders (Addressing all tasks and open issues)
- Other ad hoc tasks such as continuous improvement, SOP review, actual delivery performance analysis etc.

- Import and Export Shipments’ Actual Door to Door Performance (Gross & Net)
- Number of Shipments Arranged
- Number Non-Conformance (NC)/Damage Discrepancy Report (DDR) cases handled

**Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations**

The position will be part of Shipping Team stationed at Grundfos Singapore Pte Ltd and reporting to APAC Transportation Manager. As a support function, this role is crucial in achieving effective delivery performance, to keep goods and information flowing and lastly to meet (or exceed) the expectations of customers and internal stake holders. While dealing with Freight Forwarders and 3PL, this role is instrumental to improve our business partners on the status quo and continuously improve our processes

**Required Minimum Qualifications**
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Industrial & Management Engineering
- With at least 4-5 years-experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics Industry handling shipments, for instance all mode of transport.
- Experience in SAP

**Competencies**
- Ability to keep track open tasks until the issue is closed. Able to show initiative and make decisions in the daily execution of job scope
- Ability to adapt changes quickly, good multi-tasking skills and capable to interact with people from all levels
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and have ability to work in cross cultural environment
- Able to work with limited to no supervision with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and time management. Structured, process motivated and pay attention to details.
- Open minded, result oriented and willing to accept tasks and learn new things
- Proficient in MS office, particularly MS excel
- For instance with proven history of work-related achievements
