Key Accounts for developing and executing strategic business plan for his/her assigned trade channel and management of assigned key account customers in retail environment.
Identifying opportunity/gaps through understanding the trade dynamics, and as a key account specialist working together with the sales manager you will also be responsible for building & developing the capability of a team of sales executives and/or merchandisers. Working with the Sales Manager, you are also responsible for delivering Sales Volume, Distribution, and in-store fundamentals for the Modern Trade channel (FairPrice,Unity, and Watsons).
You will play an essential role to:
1) Sales Resource Management
- Together with the SM, AKAM is to recruit well-qualified resources for contributing to the company's sales development.
2) Sales Training to Subordinates
- Work with the human resource department to conduct training sessions for the newly recruited sales executives.
- The sales manager job description includes imparting sales training sessions to sales professionals regarding how the company business can be improved.
3) Managing Sales Executives and/or Merchandisers
- AKAM has to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of his/her team members for the purpose of assigning tasks to sales and marketing executives.
- He/she has to handle administrative issues of his team members. AKAM is also to keep a record of the employee productivity of his team members.
4) Preparing Sales Strategy, Execution and Trade Marketing Plans
- AKAM has to collaborate with the commercial management team of the company, and draft sales and marketing strategies to execution for the assigned channel and/or customers for approval from the management. -After the strategy and plans have been finalized, AKAM has to explain them to the team members. Guiding SE and planning to ensure route-to-market execution.
5) Handling Important Sales Deals
- Conduct deals which can get the company sustainable level of business and profits.
- AKAM closes the deal with the customer by negotiating the both the promotional, visibility and distribution plans, listing ambitions, and ongoing renewal of the trading terms.
6) Team Management
- Maintaining a good teamwork spirit in the sales team is also a crucial part of the AKAM responsibilities.
- The AKAM must motivate the team to give their best and be true resources for the company.
- To address the difficulties that are faced by the executives in achieving their targets.
7) Sales Data Proficiency
- Drive a data driven mindset with the key objective to drive data analytics and insights decisions, through identifying key gaps in ways of working, and usage of data and proposing/optimizing efficient solutions which are commercially savvy.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in FMCG environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Meticulous, mature and tactful personality, integrity, self-driven and a team
player
**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
