[What the role is]

You will be responsible for the following duties:
[What you will be working on]
- Assist in the organisation of international events contributing to biodiversity conservation, with scope including, but not limited to, event planning, volunteer management, fundraising, donor management, partnership cultivation, and administrative support
- Assist in developing and implementing an international youth network to engage in the conservation of endangered wildlife species through CITES
- Facilitate the creation of partnerships with national CITES authorities, non-governmental organisations, youth organisations, academic institutions and more to promote youth involvement in CITES activities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and outreach strategy to promote the international youth network among the target audience
- Support ad hoc work pertaining to CITES and wildlife trade as needed

[What we are looking for]
- Degree in Life Science, Biological Science, Environment Science, Conservation Biology, Zoology or any related discipline
- Preferably with working experience in public engagement
- Possess good writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- Applicants with a keen interest in wildlife/wildlife conservation would be preferred
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure, and produce deliverables within given deadlines
- Must be an independent worker as well as a good team player
- Willing to work on weekends and after office hours
