Accountable
- Perform all ICT activities and duties in area of responsibility in accordance with all legal requirements, SOPs, guidelines, rules of procedures, by-laws, compliance, and IT Governance rules
- Create regular reports and KPIs out of IT systems for all regional / cluster solutions in area of responsibility
- Achieve regional / cluster IT Management Air/Ocean budget and performance targets, e.g. service quality, project deliverables
- Introduce respective IT&D Air and Ocean cost transparency on regional / cluster level based on global cost management standards and tools
- Implement global IT&D Air and Ocean processes for Demand
- / Portfolio Management, Solution Architecture, Project Management, Release Management, and Service Management on regional / cluster level.
- Take HR decisions related to Cluster Heads of IT&D Air and Ocean with matrix reporting line in close cooperation with Cluster CIO, SVP of Global IT&D Air & Ocean and P&O

Responsible
- Derive regional IT Management strategy for the domain ‘Transport Air, Ocean, Others’ within the region
- Establish an efficient regional IT Demand
- / Portfolio-Management process with the regional Business Unit Air/Ocean Freight and Others that is compliant and contributes to the global IT&D Air and Ocean and IT Demand
- / Portfolio-Management standard in close alignment with regional Demand & Portfolio Management function
- Transform global IT&D Air and Ocean strategy into regional / cluster day-to-day business decisions and business development activities
- Establish IT organizational framework, procedures and governance rules within area of responsibility based on functional requirements of the business owners, standardization of processes, SOPs & guidelines, corporate IT solutions, benchmarks and compliance procedures in accordance to the regional IT strategy and IT governance rules
- External and internal representation regarding IT issues/affairs to all business partners, authorities and third parties of all kinds within area of responsibility
- Serve as partner to internal Business Unit Air and Ocean Freight and Others through IT related proactive consulting and by proposing innovative solutions to support the improvement of respective business processes and operational excellence
- Maintain the IT Project Portfolio for all regional IT&D Air and Ocean projects, track project progress and prepare decisions - in accordance with global IT&D Air and Ocean project management standards
- Provide consulting expertise for demands towards Air, Ocean and Others and define IT solution for demands regarding regional / cluster solutions
- Implement and support global Projects within the region
- Optimize efficiency by fostering digitalization of operations and customer/carrier interfaces

- Support global Head of IT&D Air and Ocean to define global IT&D Air and Ocean strategy within area of responsibility
- Support regional CIO and IT Governance to define regional ICT strategy within area of responsibility
- Collect cluster and country feedback towards global Air, Ocean and Others Services, Programs and Projects
- Support business development activities regarding ICT issues within area of responsibility
- Consult business regarding business process design to optimize system implementation and usage

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or relevant fields
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Leadership position
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT industry (incl. personal management of large-scale project).
- Logistics industry knowledge would be an additional plus
