A local SGX-listed MNC, providing an international multi-faceted solution, with businesses spanning across the Marine, Offshore O&G, Construction and Real Estate industries, is inviting keen individual to join its team as a Logistics Administrator.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:
- **Inventory Management - Track stock movement,**Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- **Order Processing -**Receive and process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. To coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- **Shipping and Delivery Coordination -**Arrange and coordinate shipments, including selecting appropriate carriers. Track shipments/deliveries and provide timely updates to customers or stakeholders. Handle issues such as delays or shipment discrepancies.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping -**Maintain accurate records for shipments, receipts, and inventory. Ensure proper completion and storage of import/export documents, such as invoices, shipping labels, and customs paperwork.
- **Supplier and Vendor Management -**Monitor supplier performance and resolve any delivery, pricing, or quality issues. Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective operations.
- **Transportation Management -**Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery. Track and manage transportation costs.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
- Min. GCE ‘O’ Level
- Min. 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics software (e.g. SAP or WMS), and tracking systems
- Basic knowledge of customs and import/export regulations
