Tasks and Responsibilities
- Familiar with new technologies on marine and offshore field, such as autonomous and remote operated vessel, electric,
plug-in or hybrid power system.
- Perform concept and basic/detail design adopting relevant and up to date technologies
Perform Electrical calculations (Electrical load analysis, short circuit calculation, voltage drop analysis, Cable and breaker
sizing etc.)
- Generate basic & detail design document in compliance with Class/Statutory/Owner requirement
- Generate technical specification for Electrical & Automation equipment
- Perform technical evaluation of Electrical & Automation equipment
- Prepare equipment layouts and main cable routing, space coordination and integration with other disciplines.
- Liaise with other inter-discipline designers for design integration
- Liaise with Owner/ Vendor/ External Design Institute for the specific design requirement and development
- Liaise with Class Society to determine the design requirement

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Electrical & Automation newbuilding engineering design.
- Familiar on Power and Automation system/ Navigation system.
- Familiar with Rules and Regulation and Statutory Requirements.
- Familiar with AutoCAD/ MS Office/ AVEVA.
