**What you'll be doing**:

- Record-keeping: A crypto trading and options accountant must keep accurate records of all cryptocurrency trading and options trading transactions, including purchases, sales, transfers, and other related activities.
- Tax compliance: Crypto trading and options accountants must ensure that all tax obligations related to cryptocurrency and options trading are met, including preparing and filing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
- Trading analysis: A crypto trading and options accountant must analyze financial data related to cryptocurrency and options trading transactions and provide insights into financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk factors.
- Risk management: Crypto trading and options accountants must identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cryptocurrency and options trading, such as market volatility, fraudulent activity, theft, and cybersecurity threats.
- Regulatory compliance: Crypto trading and options accountants must ensure that all cryptocurrency and options trading transactions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, such as anti-money laundering laws and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.
- Stakeholder's service: also able to provide advice and support to clients on various cryptocurrency and options trading-related issues, including investment strategies, tax implications, and risk management.
- Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

**What we're looking for**:

- Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional certificate.
- Relevant experience in TradFi, Crypto or equivalent environment
- Experience working on Derivatives, Trading Product lines and equivalent
- Good knowledge of local accounting GAAP, Certified Public Accountant is a plus.
- Experienced and knowledgeable of accounting software, payroll procedures, and management systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Table, SUMIF, etc.) is compulsory.
- Must be a team player, take full ownership of your work, empathetic and open-minded.
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
