**Job Purpose**:
To ensure safe, compliant maritime operations by supporting PAL HSEQ and Unified Safety Management System implementation, monitoring performance indicators, resolving issues, and facilitating fleet growth and unification.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Safety Management System Implementation
- Support the implementation of the Company's Safety Management System, which may include tasks related to manuals and fleet notices.
2. smartPAL HSEQ Issue Follow-up (ERP)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to follow up on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) used as core ship management platform for issues & queries.
3. Monitoring and Analysis
- Monitor and analyze Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the fleet.
4. Assist with HSEQ and Certification
- smartPAL HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality), Quality Document Management System (QDMS), certification processes, and day-to-day crewing interface issues.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan for future deployments and unification efforts and assist CHSEQ in USMS upgrade project.
6. Mobile App Project Support
- Assist in implementing a Mobile App project for LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) and Tanker operations.
The above key responsibilities/accountabilities are non-exhaustive, and the job holder may be asked to carry out additional duties or projects as required by the organization.
**Job Requirement**:
1. Education
- Preferred a diploma/ degree in Nautical Studies, Marine Engineering, or Health Safety Environment.
2. Experience
- Preferred at least 2 years of working experience in the marine-related industry.
3. Knowledge
- Good knowledge of ISM (International Safety Management Code), ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), MLC (Maritime Labor Convention), TMSA (Tanker Management and Self-Assessment), SIRE (Ship Inspection Report Program), and ISO standards.
4. IT Skills
- Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
5. Soft Skills
- Good organizational and communication skills, a positive attitude, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
6. Language Skills
- Good command or spoken and written English.
7. Documentation Skills
- Excellent and speedy documentation skills.
8. Negotiation Skills
- Strong negotiation skills.
