We are looking for **a Training Instructor, Automation **for our client which is an international technology group that supplies high-technology systems to customers in the merchant marine, defense, aerospace, offshore oil and gas industries, and renewable and utilities industries.

**Overview of Position**:
This role is responsible for coordination and conduct of automation training activities in Singapore, in other training centers in other countries, as well as onboard vessels as required.

**Responsibilities**
- **Responsible for the training systems **in the Training Centre
- **Keep up with product development and knowledge**:

- **Develop, prepare and carry through client's training courses**:

- Maintain the teaching material, evaluate the training program, documentation and tools for internal courses in the given product area
- **Contribute to further development of course activity and build up training globally**:

- Responsible to coordinate and ensure that the training courses get qualified recourses and is performed according to company rules & regulations
- Prepare classroom and develop training concepts, in close relation with Kongsberg Maritime’s strategy
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Maritime Operations **or related discipline
- **Preferred to possess experience in maritime or vessels operations, or maritime training**:

- **Experience with teaching and/or ability to impart expert knowledge in a structured manner**:

- **Quality conscious, service minded, outgoing, creative and independent**:

- Excellent **co-operative skills, good communication skills and result oriented**:

- **Good interpersonal relationship **with culturally different people
- Able to demonstrate and explain accurately and clearly
- Have a good command of English, written and verbally.
- **Traveling as required**:

- **Due to quota issues **this role is strictly for the Singaporeans or the SPRs.**

**Salary and benefits**:

- **Basic salary: $6,000- $7,000 **(Pay package will be commensurate with experience)
- **18 days AL + other statutory benefits**:

- **AWS + Variable bonus **(depending on company and individual performance.)
