**Head of Supply Chain
**Responsibilities**:
- Manages the end-to-end supply chain operation, including planning, storing, transport and distribution of products and service parts necessary to meet business needs, whilst maximising efficiency and minimising costs.
- Manages the Supply Chain Hub and Network for transportation of goods and supplies, reviewing and recommending improvements to procedures to ensure on-time delivery of goods and supplies.
- As part of the functional leadership team, contributes to the formation of supply chain strategy; through specialist expertise and insights, challenges that strategy to ensure it meets overall customer and business needs.
- Ensures an effective end to end supply chain process that meets all legal, regulatory and company’s policy requirements; creates and drives continuous improvement method and mindset.
- Delivers the supply chain budget for assigned locations, including any complex analyses on budget progress required for completion; manages activity to budget.
- Works with customer facing teams to fully understand demand to optimise current and future customer order fulfilment.
- Leads the implementation and provision of an effective sales and operational planning (S&OP) process, effective demand and supply planning; ensures accurate and timely forecasting to meet customer demand and support inventory planning; ensures planners follow appropriate product and portfolio review processes to maximise working capital.
- Manages and recommends improvements to replenishment and inventory control processes; identifies issues and solves problems quickly and decisively.
- Leads and manages warehousing and distribution activity, including selection and management of local third-party distribution partners.
- Implements and drives adoption of supply chain information management systems and processes to plan, reviews and reports activity and outcomes across the supply cycle; collects and analyses key performance and control information, to drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
- Communicates the actions needed to implement supply chain strategy and business plan within the team; explains its relationship to the broader company’s mission, vision and values; motivates people to commit to these actions and to doing extraordinary things to achieve business goals
- Manages and reports on the performance of the supply chain team; sets appropriate performance objectives for team members and holds them accountable for achieving these. Takes appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team and personal objectives
- Contributes to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs, issues and concerns, and reacting to these by creating and conveying information to promote understanding and commitment
- Coach and empower the team to develop the essential competencies needed for sustained business success and individual growth.
- Foster a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork, and cooperation, enabling the company's principles to flourish and prosper throughout the entire organization.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management within Marine Industry, with a broad overview on Supply Chain Management, with minimum 5 years in a leadership capacity in planning and managing resources to deliver business objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of motivating and inspiring teams.
- Strong business acumen, adept at aligning supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving supply chain challenges.
- Proven ability to manage different ways of working and managing complexity.
- Good understanding of Continuous Improvement Principles and Practices and know how to develop and manage highly effective teams.
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to get buy-in across multiple stakeholders in a functional matrix organization.
- Good understanding of best practice in terms of global freight, transportation and logistics
- Proficiency in one of the following enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, such as SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Sage or IFS.
- Knowledge in managing Dangerous Goods (DG) logistics (IATA DGR and/or IMDG) would be highly desirable.
- Experience in data analytics or use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau.
