Business Support will play a key part in driving the organisation forward. The role will encourage innovative thinking within the business management team whilst also supporting Market Heads in looking at delivery of efficiencies going forward.
The role is in charge of:
- Overseeing the daily operations and provide administrative assistance to a front office business.
- Perform standard & complex secretarial duties and general support to the department head, with access to sensitive and confidential information and data which requires strict confidentially undertaking.
- General administration support to Wealth Management, as requested from time to time.
Business activities/initiatives
- Assists and represents front office in various business related activities/initiatives (sales management, productivity support, business pipelines, referrals, etc.)
- Timely follows up of matters such as trainings and ad-hoc administrative issues.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Bank’s policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities (monitoring, tracking etc).
Stakeholder management and administrative support:
- Coordinates with key stakeholders regarding business support matters.
- Work with FO Admin to manages logistics for new hire on boarding, staff desk movement, etc.
- Help to coordinate client events, client meetings, etc. and arrange on/off-site meetings, events and conference.
- Collaborates and work closely with colleagues to implement policies and develop improvements.
- Preparation of documents and presentation materials where required
- Collect information needed by supervisor for conferences, meetings and reports.
- Take meeting minutes.
- May have access to confidential and sensitive reports/analyses/clients/ staff/other information to the Bank.
- Responsible for general administration.
- Other ad hoc assignments.
Communicative, flexible, efficient, hardworking and able to work under pressure
Understanding of wealth management business to provide needed support to front office.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to do analysis and problem-solving.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
Proficient in MS Office and expertise in the use of modern technologies particularly with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
Ability to work with a team and self-driven.
Ability to review procedures for support and pinpoint opportunities to develop the efficiency of business.
Highly detail-oriented and organised with an ability to multitask and respond to rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
