Singapore ELEMENT CONSTRUCTION TESTING (S) PTE. LTD. Full time

Element has an opportunity for **Lab Engineer**for Singapore. In this role, you will be involved in project plan, coordination, operation for soil investigation works. Attend the project meeting if required. Day-to-day site operation to ensure works are constructed as per project & safety requirement. Identify the soil/rock & record the field log. Take the soil sample for lab test. Supervise site works. Liaise with clients on site works / projects. Plan and arrange the Logistics

This role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore.

Job Duties:

- Schedule the testing programmes according to priority
- Execute the soil testing works to determine the physical and mechanical of the soil samples: Supervise the technicians to prepare the correct samples for soil testing (e.g., check the assignment and UD soil samples)
- Carry out extrusion of the soil samples
- Liaise with clients for samples that are unable to meet their requirements for their decision-making
- Carry out the soil tests according to BS standards or standards specified by clien and submit the approved soil testing reports to clients

Job Requirements:

- Degree in civil engineering or geology, certificate in Site Investigation for Supervisors (BCA) is an advantage with 2 years’ relevant experience in major infrastructure projects
- SEC(K) Higher skill will be an advantage
- Physically fit and able to withstand the challenging working conditions
- Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
- Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational and communication skills
