**The Role**:
The Head of Marketing in SEA helps drive local marketing strategy, leads campaign development and execution, as well as drives cross-functional projects for the market. This role will work closely with product, operations, comms teams locally and globally to develop market level strategies across SEA and India, that will help Emerging Product to grow its brand and business.
This is a pivotal role in the team, and will require a deep understanding of consumer marketing techniques and principles, with a particular focus on audience insights, campaign strategy & planning, project operations, and execution & reporting. The Head of Marketing of SEA will manage and grow a high performing team of local marketing managers, work with global and regional marketing team to identify key priority campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive long term growth for the business.
This role will need to lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders as well as agencies and partners to develop campaigns and strategies to grow TikTok's new business. This is a senior marketing role with scope over all aspects of the consumer brand and funnel and a leadership role leading a regional marketing team.
**What You'll Do**:
- Develop regional marketing strategies to grow Emerging Product's brand and product presence and relevancy in market with a deep understanding of the global business roadmaps.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies to support and drive local marketing strategy, and lead end to end campaign development and reporting
- Identify, build and maintain partnership opportunities across a variety of channels including entertainment, social media, brands, celebrities and other businesses to drive our marketing strategy and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with other functional teams, locally and globally, to define & deliver our marketing strategy. Lean in with localized approaches but keep a strong synergy with the global teams.
- Utilise in-depth marketing research, customer insights and market segment developments to build effective marketing strategies.
- Oversee activations and community building among specific communities within the total target audience.
- Manage a regional team of marketing managers, facilitate the marketing org growth in SEA
- 8+ years’ work experience in marketing at tech companies is highly preferred, especially experience from building high level strategies to campaign development and media management for new products in SEA is a plus.
- Data and Insights driven, ability to synthesise data into strategy and execution.
- You have excellent knowledge of the digital advertising industry in SEA
- You are passionate and knowledgeable about the music industry and the user communities in SEA, familiar with the market in Indonesia is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of major music streaming platforms in SEA.
- Experience leading and mentoring a diverse team across countries
- A keen interest in brand and business development, including commercial and brand partnerships.
- Excellent written and presentation skills & negotiation skills, and leadership ability.
